Gambit Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 From what I have seen, I am certain both will surpass Tendulkar and possibly Dravid as well as the best ever Indian batsmen. Both have shown more gumption in their first test against the best team in their home conditions than Tendulkar or Dravid did in their first outing. :hatsoff:
Marut Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 What?? Try to speculate this after they play at leat 50 tests each.
Cricketics Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I want to see more of Pujara against angry birds Australian bowlers in their own den with Siddle and Johnson running in hard. I know and know for fact that he will do good for us in future regardless of how he fares against next year in Australia and England. Regarding Kohli. I predicted his career since he was playing under 19 and had not even won u19 world cup yet. He will be the best Indian player to come out in future and will have the best record batting overseas, the day he retires. We have found our perfect no. 3 and no. 4. I hope no Indian captain/selector in future even touch those two slots and try change their batting slots. Let these guys bat on these slots for one whole year, they will show the world, they are not only India's best, but best in the world.

Cricketics Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 :hmmm: the not-so-hidden intention of OP is to say that Dravid is a superior test bat than Sachin... Well many would think that. Here's what I think Player to have biggest impact on Indian Cricket - Tendulkar Best One day Cricketer ever to come from India - Tendulkar Best Cricketer overall to come out from India - Tendulkar But best Test Cricketer - Dravid. This is just my opinion and how I saw both players after following Indian cricket from last 20 years.

Cricketics Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 On what basis? Kabhi aur yaaar. At 2:50 am at my place, don't really have time to debate on two legends of Indian cricket.
King Tendulkar Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 ^ You have just air brushed out the whole of the 90s:cantstop:
CG Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Kabhi aur yaaar. At 2:50 am at my place' date=' don't really have time to debate on two legends of Indian cricket.[/quote'] okie good night
urbestfriend Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Pujara and Kohli will be equivalent of Dravid and Sachin for years to come..Statistically they surpass Dravid or Sachin is irrelevant as long as they win us the matches..
urbestfriend Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Also I expect Kohli to takeover the captaincy from Dhoni and he will be better captain in terms of aggressiveness..
yoda Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Well many would think that. Cricketics Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Yoda, I hope you understand how I picked those choices. I watched pretty less of Kapil. Infact so little that I don't even remember much. I am sure if I would have been born a bit early, I might have idolized him as he was everything which we need today - Bowler, batsman and a fantastic fielder

I would add - The most naturally gifted cricketer from India - Tendulkar He was a complete test batsman at 16!!
Sachin=GOD Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 Pujara will surpass Dravid - seeing his Test batting till now I can say that he has a very high chance. Kohli will surpass Goddy - nah.
