Will India be a better test team overseas without MSD ?

Without Dhoni Positives: 1. Chance of a good batsman keeper playing at no. 7. 2. Less screw up decisions in the game. 3. We might get some bowlers who can average around 30 develop with the time. Under Dhoni there is no hope in this area. 4. With a proper batsman-keeper we might go with 5 man bowling attack. Negatives: 1. Very inexperienced team, will miss his calmness and authority. 2. In the flat conditions, he can counter attack and get some runs quickly when we need to declare. What is your opinion on this ?

All the batsmen who failed are retired or discarded. And for the bowlers he only keeps gives permanent place to bowlers who average over 100.

Overall yes, he is the best but mostly because of his home record, he still very poor batsman in bowling friendly conditions. That with his captaincy makes people question his place.

Zaheer is not averaging 100. Two of his selections in this test were vindicated. Ishant and Shami. So not sure what you are saying here. Only Ashwin disappointed us. He was going to play under any captain anyway.
