CG Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 our guys had that too when we were batting yesterday and today The last session of the last test really would have taken lot from the bowlers .steyn is fitter and increased his speed late in the day yesterday.May be our guys are saving for reverse also.
saneindian Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Really long day ahead tomorrow. 98 overs to be bowled, play starts half an year early. Lots of sunshine expected. Hope there is some spin and reverse to keep the bowlers interested, else we could be 70-75 runs behind by close of play tomorrow. Also, hope someone showsDhoni stats of Rohit bowling on India A tours.

express bowling Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 speed will be down .you cannot expect guys having bowled 50+ overs in 2 days to recover.Do not look at speeds only the zip he is getting at 134ks is far better than what he was at 140ks with wobbly seam. Ishant is bowling one and a half days after Steyn. Recovery time for both is more or less same, plus Ishant is 5 yrs. younger. If he is getting zip then it's great. But if the reduction in pace is the result of inconsistency in action that creeps in from time to time then that's an issue.
maniac Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 ACtually looks threatening....Needs some luck.....Hope he rolls over the Africans tommorow
Ram Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Ishant hitting the seam after a 'loong time..'? As in - For the first time ever? :hmmm: When has he ever hit the seam?

rkt.india Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Ishant hitting the seam after a 'loong time..'? As in - For the first time ever? :hmmm: When has he ever hit the seam? IN his early days 2008-2009, Aus tour and NZ tour.
express bowling Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 If he is actually hitting the seam and getting zip off the deck then it is great news. Apart from the much increased effectiveness it means that Ishant is actually improving .... something not seen in A long time.
