I think SA was helped by some poor umpiring decisions that could have changed the match, e.g ABDV was out in 1st test 2nd innings yet went to make a 100. Kohli out this morning to a poor decision, sure he would have hung on. Still, both teams played well as SA managed to go over the line. Always fun to watch Ind vs SA in ANY FORMAT. Both put on a clinic in test cricket.

Not sure about that. Losing Kallis will change the dynamics and flexibility of the team. Having one bowler less in the second innings at Johannesburg when Morkel was injured made the attack appear very ordinary at times.

De Villiers played two crucial innings, Faf played one amazing one. Kallis went out in style. Even their openers went really well with fast-scoring partnerships. Bowling, fielding, everything was top class.
