RedFever Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 what hurting Milind is that the MNS are not attacking the BJP at all and have put forward a weak ass candidate there. Raj T basically said he is supporting Modi for PM. My cousins was telling me that rather than campaign for the lok sabha the mns candidate is simply identifying which assembly segments the mns can win and reporting back to MNS. Unlike 2009 lok sabha the MNS are concentrating 100% on the assembly elections. Add to that AAP is expected to get around 10-12% of the vote there mostly at the cost of the congress. I think the Sena-BJP have been wise in their allocation. Historically the sena is a stronger of the two in konkan/mumbai while BJP is stronger in marathwada and viderbha. However as MNS is supporting Modi the BJP have fielded candidates in mumbai and compensated by giving the sena seats in viderabha and marathwada. South Mumbai is the only seat MNS have a realistic chance of winning. Bala Nandgaonkar is known to be very close to Raj. Shiv sena have a weak candidate for this seat. Had BJP contested from here, they had a very good chance of winning with a high Gujarati population in this area. (Ironically this was BJP allocated seat in the 96,98,99,2004 elections).Milind Deora should be able to retain the seat owing to the division of votes.

Arvind Sawant is not a weak candidate, he knows the area inside out. Is one of the new old guard who survived the udhav thakarey chop. Rawale was kelpt on from south central. That was the mistake. Baba Nandgainkar is not at all close to Raj. Last time around he got votes cause Rawle just did not fit into the new area. Deora should hold on.Thats one thing i agree with. Just about.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Why are people so surprised at NDTV sowing such high numbers for BJP/NDA - since May 2004 NDTV has been openly anti-BJP so now that they see a very real possibility of a BJP Govt they are trying their level best to get into BJP's good books by showing inflated numbers for BJP/NDA in its surveys.

Haarkarjeetgaye Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Total KLPD. :cantstop: I hope the Party gets at least 2-3 seats here. yeh bhookh ki maari janta hai.(RAJNEETI)....lekin dimaag chala leti hai... Kejri mostly will pay badly for running away from Delhi, no matter what the circumstances. had they been in Delhi today, they would have probably not been able to spend a lot of time in LS prachaar but would have built a strong base for LS 2019.
Sachin=GOD Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 TCS has developed a very good app for the elections - TCS iElect. Download it :nice:

Sachin=GOD Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Modi has never had good relations with Brahmins. I don't know know if this will work in UP Yeah.....he doesn't have good relations and on top of that the tickets of so many senior brahmin leaders has been cut - BJP should do well in UP but the main thing which IMO will affect its performance is the ticket distribution process - this has led to senior leaders and workers dissatisfied, many caste calculations going astray and underestimation of BSP.
randomGuy Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 AAP would contest 114/121 seats on Apr17 and would win >45 seats : BH-7 CG-3 JH-5 KA-28 MP-10 MH-19 OD-10 RJ-19 UP-11 WB-1 MN-1

adi B Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 ndtv have gone nuts!!but pranoy did say this time they conducted the survey by going to thousands of residence in each constituency looking at the electoral list. anyway i think just how ndtv is overestimating nda's tally, some icfers are equally underestimating their tally.i am pretty sure bjp will alone get 200-210 and nda's tally will reach 230-240. jagan will give outside support so all in all bjp will need close to 20-25 seats from another party (some independents will also hop in)
