A very valid point being made there and I fully agree with him. The players should be auctioned only after seeing that there is some interest in picking him by the franchises. All the franchises must give an opinion whether they are interested in buying the player or not. If all agree not to pick the player, don't auction him. But in case the team during auction feels that they need him, they may call upon the players in the end who they earlier decided not to put for auctions, and normal auction process should proceed for that player.

Come on, the viewership will increase if the auction time is 2-3 hours instead of say 8 hours X 2. The people in auction are no veli janta. They do have value for time. Its fair to make auction only for those players who will be bought.
