I do believe Zol does open the innings for Maharashtra. Is it on a regular basis? Does he have the technique? Is it Chand? Maybe domestic experts like sane and rkt can answer.

Look at other countries who are struggling to find good LOI spinners because they are all getting whacked. I'm sure narine was battered not long ago by NZ, so i thought jadeja did reasonably well. I expect him to do better next game though

ThePhenomenal1 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 the big issue india faces is (A) do they bring in another batsman like Rayadu at 7 and play Jadeja/Ashwin at 8 with Raina/Kohli filling in the fifth bowler quota 0r (B) they continue to do in with sir/ashin and hope the top 6 make it count. Raina has to go for a few months im afraid. Raina, dhoni, jadeja is just such a fragile part of our batting. So rayudu comes in at 5 with rahane at 4. Dhawan, rohit, kohli, rahane, rayudu, dhoni, jadeja, bhuvi, aaron, pandey, shami The reason we lost was also because we conceded too many runs at the end. 268 was a winning total, im sure if we had aaron and pandey to strike, we could have done better. I'm really dissapointed. Both dhoni and ishant are like cancers to the team atm :((

Manoj tiwary, rayudu, pujara, rahane.. all better bats imo. but held down by this idiot in odis. now i admit, he was gr8 in champions trophy, wi tri series and zim and the flat track Aus series but he wastes balls and puts pressure on the other end. he should stay in tests and thats it.

Its a fact: quality bowlers win you the matches. Instead of using aaron or pandey, Dumb*ss dhoni plays ishant, refuses to make changes. WHY? When you haven't won an overseas ODI in some time, why not change things up? You need good pacers to win matches and bhuvi/shami worked well but that cancer ishant ruined everything. This indian team made 268, which to me, was a winning total. Kohli's glorious century gone to waste, i'm surprised he hasn't complained about retarded ishant. Had ishant just kept things tight and taken a few wickets (impossible for that b*stard), then I am sure we would only have had to chase 260-270. Ashwin did nothing special though bowled better. I would rather play Mishra or just jadeja. Batting flops - another reason we lost: Raina flopped (hasn't done anything since the England 2013 series, needs to go) Rahane - One off, quality player, we have seen what he can do. Jadeja - did his bit as a spinner and will get better overseas. I back him. Rohit - wasted balls and flopped again. Better players are waiting to replace him but MSD will persist. Tailenders should step up too. Team needs another change. My team: Dhawan, Rohit (2 more odis then thats it), kohli, rahane, rayudu, dhoni, jadeja, bhuvi, aaron, pandey, shami. Think MSD will only learn when effigies are burned or there are strong protests

You will have to wait for an embarrassing exit in WC 2015 (will happen) along with Srini mamas exit for Dhobi to be gone.
