OriginalCopy Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Rohit is not out of depth as opener. He drowned with it along with Dhawan. Bloody FTBs.
smbhayi Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 India need couple of changes.. no more NoHits and Sharmas.. pls.. Sent from my HTC Wildfire S A510e using Tapatalk 2
adi B Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 He was out of depth as middle order as well.. only spot where he is yet to prove his unworthiness is lower order. lol that cracked me up..thing is nohit will play all 5 matches in this series because of no replacement in the squad..i'd within seconds send rahane to open and take a risk with nohit at 2 down, with the shine off the new balls and spinners/3rd seamer operating, this jacksh1t nohit may find it easier to get settled, might slog a few in BP
BlackMamba Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Throw out a guy who has scored so many runs last year because he failed in 2-3 games? When he hit that 200, he was destined for greatness, now suddenly doesn't even deserve a place. As for him not being able to play in tough conditions, runs in Eng and WI suggest otherwise Problem in the team is not him, its with Dhoni's stubborn leadership and the continued selection of Ishant and Ashwin Who said he was destined for greatness, because he scored 200? He had hit a purple patch. In fact when the whole world was going Ga Ga over Dhawan after Champions Trophy, I kept on saying -- "Hold your horses". He has done nothing yet to prove to me he is great. He has started well, let us see how he carries? Well to me he is completely out of sorts. He got out to a ball which even Kane Williamson was dispatching for boundaries. I seriously question some of these guys' work ethics, practice, how serious they are off the field. Both him and Rohit seem to taking things for granted just because they walloped a couple of weak attacks a couple of times. Not good for me, not good for India.
BlackMamba Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Can somebody tweet this to Rohit, seriously do it. I do not have a twitter account.
GautiMaan Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 The strike rates in ODI's make these even more damning.Bats like Misbah's disciple, tuk tuk 6 out
TheWall Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 All of a sudden Sehwag and Gambhir look like saviours!!!!!!!!
vvvslaxman Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Not sure when we are going to realize. Looks like we will try him at every batting position before discarding him .
The Realist Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Not sure when we are going to realize. Looks like Dhoni will try him in every position before discarding him . Fixed
rahulrulezz Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Since the guy will never be dropped, I rather play him as an opener...atleast this guy won't kill the momentum in middle overs....
Switchblade Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Since the guy will never be dropped' date=' I rather play him as an opener...atleast this guy won't kill the momentum in middle overs....[/quote'] Start is also very important you can't be 10 of 30 or 5 of 25 always felt his 209 trolled us big time just imagine him opening in the 2015 WC and if he plays like this :nervous:
rahulrulezz Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Start is also very important you can't be 10 of 30 or 5 of 25 always felt his 209 trolled us big time just imagine him opening in the 2015 WC and if he plays like this :nervous: Agreed.. but this so called super talented, lazy elegance, high elbow, so much time to hit the ball, still head would be stuck to our team till WC2015, atleast he might take the shine away from the new ball, him in the middle overs means, from 180-2 in 30 overs to 197-3 in 41 overs.. I rather have his pathetic start then this pathetic middle overs batting..
game_changerr Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 He wont be dropped as caption kohli himself is self confessed nohit's big fan
Switchblade Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Don't think anyone has trolled us for the past 7 years than both the Sharma's. Its painful to watch him open the innings and our run rate being around 2 runs an over or 3. I feel he puts pressure on Shikhar as well.
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 he is Gods gift to India which means we have to make him succeed. so keep waiting like a farmer waiting for rain. it will rain someday
