Probably abt 1/3rd of microsoft employees are indian.

Satya has the exact same classical geeky awkwardness that characterized all of Bill's public appearances. I totally understand that sentiment which is shared by few of my friends. Not an Indian pride much like Kalpana Chawla who worked out and out for NASA. He has joined the list of tons of tech guys, doctors who has already given a reason for US to hire more Indian guys in future. Thats about it. From what i have heard from one of his classmate on FB, he was an average student academically. Would be surprised if he would have reached the same heights had he stayed back in India.

So, he has had basic education in India , which had certainly influenced his basic character. This is one of the success stories of Indian education, just like Indra Nooyi (who even did post-graduation MBA from IIM-K). When they celebrate Indians like Preeti Bhatura, why not one who is a fan of cricket just like us! :-)
