I think many of us are losing interest in Captain Phillips and his corrupt crew. Its just 2011 all over again repeated in a sad cycle. The one common factor in all those epic defeats is the bankrupt presence of Captain Clueless. I like most of us am resigned to nothing changing until at least after the 2015 WC. Anyway the Euro Champions League starts up soon so will focus on that rather than this collection of has-beens and passengers.

He is basically doing what Dhoni told him too, Dhoni basically said the same thing before saying the job of the first change bowler is to keep the run rate down. I wouldn't be surprised if Dhoni told him not to worry about taking wickets as long as he isn't that expensive. Which is why Dhoni keeps playing Ishant Ahead of Yadav who ovbviously is always looking to take wickets.

Dhoni and Ishant's game plan is to basically stop a batsman from scoring 4 or 5 runs an over and they think batsman will eventually give their wicket away. They are playing a test like its an ODI. Then he bowls some short pitch pies every over at 120k which are basically hit me deliveries. The only way you can endure this train wreck is if you watch it like some comedy show.

Shami bowled 6 overs for 5 runs in his first spell and regularly troubled the batsman. He got Fulton plumb lbw but was turned down and later an easy catch was dropped off his bowling. He could have easily picked 3 or more wickets. Zaheer and Ishant were struggling to hit 130k today and after the ball got older and pitch got flatter, they didnt look like troubling NZ batsmen. They were the ones who let the pressure off.

I will try my utmost best to give up cricket till the time Dhoni is around. There is a limit to corruption and he is surpassing it. I may fail in my endeavor because I really love this game but I am a sad sad man. :((:((

Plus why do you want people to pelt stones at anyone's house and destroy anyone's house or anyone's personal property. Admittedly I didn't watch the first session live,only watched highlights Shami was unlucky but I felt hdid e bowled a bit too short.He is essentially a swing bowler so should bowled fuller.troubled batsmen with swing when he pitched it up but didn't do enough Ishant may have bowled slower but beat batsmen often primarily due to bounce.Even he had couple of edges falling short of slips Zak looked poor agree.
