helperononline Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 we have seen a gr8 improvement. opening bowling is crap but there is fight and ashwin is looking good again. mishra bowled well. the problem was our runs, we had too few and didnt put enough pressure but this team looks better under kohli in the sense of fighting back and taking wickets. dk is criminal, should be replaced with uthappa as a backup wk rayudu played well rohit should be dropped, dont care if he scored a 50 he just doesnt have it in him to do well long term dhawan played a dumb shot but is a gr8 player SkIndia is that you ? :blink:

It's how he got out against us in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup. I thought the bowlers would've known better.

I'd try Pujara instead of Rahane,Rayudu looked like he belongs in this format thats a plus,and when MSD comes back,we can begin whipping Lungans and Pakis again. With MSD in the team, we got whitewashed by NZ and lost to SA. It's irrelevant who is captain now. We are going through a losing streak and I wonder when it's gonna get over. What is the next ODI series after the T20 WC?

If you get into a losing streak, you will manage to do everything that's necessary to end up on losing side. That's what we've been seeing with this Indian side both in tests and ODIs. I feel West Indies side is also similar. They have the talent to be a top side but never manage to win games consistently.

ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 selectors messed up i agree but you could have had rayudu keep if u wanted him in, dk has nothing special anyway and has cost us. then binny did nothing but has a small sample size in matches so can argue either way. the approach was right has raina and yuvraj arent going to do squat in aus. but we should have had jadhav in the team
