G_B_ Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 yeah was going to say some big Punjabi lovin there from Bhajji
Cricketics Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Mandeep is brilliant, other selections can be questioned. I agree about Aaron was supposed to be there.
jusarrived Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I have no doubts Mandeep is a much better prospect than Bawne , though have to say his batting has regressed in the last 2 years..very disappointed
skindia Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Bawne is even more dependable than jadhav, just check his 3 yr consistency
skindia Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Agree dhoni is biased, atleast he never did like this based on states.
skindia Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Pankaj and jiwanjot has performance on their side
Malcolm Merlyn Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 This is what Indian cricket has come to.NEPOTISM!!!!
JaFanatic Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Mandeep is brilliant' date= other selections can be questioned. I agree about Aaron was supposed to be there. He is the least deserving player in the ROI XI
King Tendulkar Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 who picked the team? some one was saying selctors picked the 11. need clarification on this.
skindia Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Must be like Harbhajan gave list to selectors and they said nice team:-)
SLICKR392 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 who picked the team? some one was saying selctors picked the 11. need clarification on this. Selectors picked the squad, not the XI. Stop defending him blindly.
SLICKR392 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Must be like Harbhajan gave list to selectors and they said nice team:-) :giggle:
Switchblade Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 who picked the team? some one was saying selctors picked the 11. need clarification on this. The guy you said was a class act he picked the playing eleven
Switchblade Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I miss THE REALIST no matter how many Smackdown's he has given to other players his best and most memorable ones have been reserved for Harbhajan nothing can beat that.Hope the legend does it again :D
cricraja Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 This is what Indian cricket has come to.NEPOTISM!!!!or could be a plain simple case of Harbhajan just having a low cricketing IQ, which is not too far fetched.
G_B_ Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 or could be a plain simple case of Harbhajan just having a low cricketing IQ' date=' which is not too far fetched.[/quote'] nothing about a low IQ its a case of picking as many players as possible from the punjab side. Maharashtra have basically one player in the rest of India side. dont get me wrong, but Punjab do have a good crop of players coming through. but the likes of Bawne especially have been hard done by. Should have definitely played in place of Mandeep singh This is nepotism. I hope Sachin does take note of this when he picked Bhajji for the Mumbai Indians side. He did not show similar faith with the likes of Rahane.
Brainfade Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 This is what Indian cricket has come to.NEPOTISM!!!! Has come to? Had been that way for a long time! It appeared to have gone away for some time, but maybe it was just my imagination.
kubrickian Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Jiwanjot and Pankaj deserve their places. Mandeep and Anureet not so much. Has Harbhajan done well this season to deserve a place in ROI and that too as captain ?
