All these point to compromise and reluctance to change,if Kohli or Pujara whoever is made captain if they are good enough they will become good captains. If team & captain stink even NZ tour will be a nightmare.One thing is evident is Dhobi as captain became stale long time back.He will remain same conservative guy who refuses to give young blood a chance.

Thing is atm all our spinners need help from the pitch to do anything else they are clueless.There's nothing special in Ojha that he needs to be backed more than Ashwin and Jaddu imo. + Wonder why Ojha is rated so highly here? He has a crap record overseas. Would take Ashwin and Jadeja over. Jadeja tops the other 2.

The problem is not jadeja performance but his ineffectiveness on flat pitches which is similar to ash win.When the ball turns he is dangerous so is ash win.Spinners are not going to win u matches abroad but we need somebody who can pick wickets at crucial intervals for that u need deception and certain eccentricity .I have more hopes ash win can develop than jadeja who depends on accuracy and batsman mistakes.

Yeah while we are at it, lets blame Shami as well for his 2nd innings failures both in SA and here considering these pitches were good for pace bowling? Fact remains in flatter conditions, right now none of our bowlers are bowling well and taking wickets. Captain's defensive fields and in general the pathetic catching accentuates the problem further.

That is what I meant. No spinners has done anything on these pitches. We saw it in ODI series too, but did not learn a thing.
