But the dashing right-hander doesn't see too many mistakes in his game as he tries to make a comeback to the Indian team. "When I watched the videos of my game, I did not find too many mistakes. The only mistake was that I was not converting the good starts into big ones," Sehwag, who has been picked up by Kings XI Punjab for the forthcoming IPL season, said. The opener, in his prime, used to score heavily on green-tops across the world, but Delhi's decision to play on wickets with some grass this season didn't help him. "There were times when I could not score runs because of the grass on the wicket," Sehwag said, adding that "it's not an excuse". The 35-year-old still has the urge to play top-flight cricket and he intends to stay fit to be in contention. "Fitness is crucial and the domestic first-class season helped me stay in shape." Sehwag met a few underprivileged children on the request of his friend S Ramakrishnan, a former video analyst of the Indian team.

Detonator Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 well, I m a big fan of sehwag. Looking at this domestic season, I feel it's his intl career is over. Although he has slight opportunity in LOI's, considering he played only 11 innings after that 219. He scored a couple of 50's though. He shld concentrate on limited overs rather than just Ranji. His eyesight problems aren't suited for longer formats.

Doesn't seem to have helped him. Kohli talked about his attitude related problem and how he worked hard on it. Rohit talked about his poor lifestyle and how he hired a nutritionist and a trainer post the 2011 WC snub. Ashwin talked about technical issues in his bowling after the England series and fine tuned it to do well vs Aussies only to go back to those same issues in SA/NZ). Uthappa keeps talking about his mistakes but can't score runs when selectors are watching him.

Talking about improving and admitting you have stunk & those kind of performances are not acceptable are different Saying you have to improve is not breaking news , kohli gets kudos in my view he saw a flaw and worked on it.

Put them into the international arena..he will perform again. Sehwag along with Gambhir shown the only due to politics. If we can give so much respect to our greats like SRT, Dravid, VVS, Kumble & Ganguly...why not Sehwag? He was the biggest match winner India has produced in the last decade and deserve the same amount of respect as other ATG's. But thanks to BCCI we have treated him like Sh!t.

He was the biggest match winner India has produced in the last decade and deserve the same amount of respect as other ATG's. But thanks to BCCI we have treated him like Sh!t. He was dropped coz of poor performances for 2 years in intl cricket only if domestic cricket doesnt motivate him,thats his problem

But thanks to BCCI we have treated him like Sh!t. how is he treated like **** and who is he going to replace even if given a chance , when was last time even with big stars in batting line up did Indian team score 285 plus in all but one innings in four overseas tests. Batting is not the problem for Indian team captaincy, bowling and team selections are problem. I dont think Gambhir and Sehwag have anything to complain about.

I definitely know few ATG's in Indian cricket stuck to the team even after poor form for 2 years.
