how is he treated like **** and who is he going to replace even if given a chance , when was last time even with big stars in batting line up did Indian team score 285 plus in all but one innings in four overseas tests. Batting is not the problem for Indian team captaincy, bowling and team selections are problem. I dont think Gambhir and Sehwag have anything to complain about.

I would take Sehwag or Gambhir as opener any day above Rohit Sharma. A quick 20 balls 35 is better than slow poison 30 off 65 balls of tuk tuk Sharma

you mean in odis?? Sehwag is ATG as test opener not as an odi opener, as odi opener he was as inconsistent as Nohit. My point was about test spot.Both he and Gambhir have no reasons to complain and in ODIS it is still not out of the question for both of them to make a comeback in different roles as this new look odi team is totally out of whack but they have to become fit and agile on the field will they have motivation to do it is the question.

His fitness and form was poor so he was dropped rightly now the time is to move forward not backwards even Gambhir does not deserve to be in the playing eleven his form is scratchy needs to score well at least he's 32 so has bit of time left Sent from my Micromax A110 using Tapatalk

During the last one year of his intl career, he seemed completely uninterested and was playing extremely rash shots.....and his fielding was way below intl standards.....What irked me most was the casual laugh after dropping a dolly..... I am a huge fan and never seen such a dangerous batsmen....i would rate him ahead of ponting

I have never heard any Indian cricketer owning up to their failures or mistakes. It is always one excuse or the other or being delusional. Is this a desi trait? I do not have it. :giggle:

Sehwag was lucky to accomplish as much as he did with such an ordinary technique. When he was on the go he was a treat to watch, but it's amazing he had a successful career with such poor footwork and technique.
