On this rare occasion, yesterday, after inaugurating a new shopping mall in South Mumbai, the batting legend expressed his disappointment of his fans leaving Mumbai Indians, the IPL team Sachin was playing for till last edition. He was answering queries of some of the scribes covering the event. He said, "it's disappointing to find that fans of Mumbai Indians moving over to support other teams thinking that my association with the team is over. I didn't expected fans to act selfishly the way they are doing without checking the fact that I'm very much part of Mumbai Indians. It's my team and will always be part of it. I salute those fans who have stayed back and continue to support Mumbai Indians irrespective of me actively playing in the team or not.
