G_B_ Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 The best was when his brother was India coach. He kept comparing India to the all time great Aussie team. As an Indian fan i remember reading that and just laughing.
kaptaan Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 True beating rich minnows isn't much of an achievement :--D :giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:
CSK Fan Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Is dhobi chop lever or something , when did dhobi have decent bowling attack yet he has won his share . Clarke was 0-7 and lucky not be 0-8 due to idiotic umpires away from home. i have issues with dhobi but he has won more with less , he is unbeatable at home but when you are saddled with inept bowling attacks he has done very well. The prime reason for Dhoni being saddled with inept attacks is he himself. He has no plans to build bowling for the future, does not chose attacking bowlers over defensive and his entire bowling strategy is based on defense and batsman making mistakes Heck, am pretty sure he has the ability to take Steyn and Johnson, asked them to bowl wicket to wicket with 4 fielders in leg side boundary
G_B_ Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Yeah to me the other fellow was an idiot of the nth order. Riled up his own skipper' date= asked arguably the best batsmen ever to have played the sport to alter his batting position, and get this apparently said raina was the second coming of Tendulkar - yeah right :haha: This ones a tad better :giggle: :hysterical:

Yadav and Pandey are no MJ or Steyn , they are also same, we just want confirmation that's all and hoping against hope that some one clicks by accident. but when spinners are in business you can see Dhobi strikes like cobra and he is as good as anyone.
vvvslaxman Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 True beating rich minnows isn't much of an achievement :--D I am talking about world no.1 ranking or world cup win something like that. I have great respect for NZ cricketers. But fans like you only spoil it.

Lol. How many chances are given to pandey get on the whole tour. Yadav was great in Australia. Dhoni doesn't know what of bowlers to select in tests. Yadav is a poor odi bowler. But he was a find in Australia in 2012 bowled really well.If captain doesn't understand test cricket and how select players he should better quit.

Yadav was not great he was ok , we use the term great very loosely ,He was injured then after his comeback he should have been continued but Dhobi's love for trundlers is very known. Only in Dhobi's world Vinay is better than Yadav. Pandey should have been given a chance very unfair on him not to even get one odi.
Soorma_Bhopali Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 I agree with Chappell ..Dhoni is making the Indian team more of a CSK extension ..it's time to give Kohli a rein ..we need fresh thinking
King Tendulkar Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Chappell only saying what any indian thinks but our lot too scared to speak out sad days. Even North Korea has more freedom of speech So much for our so called free media

Above Depriving Bhuvan of the most helpful conditions he was ever going to get.
keith Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 True beating rich minnows isn't much of an achievement :--D I signed up to this forum because I wanted to know what the Indian fans thought about their team selection, but I must say as a New Zealander I find your posts totally embarrassing. Please cut it out. As for Dhoni's field placements, I feel that Ian Chappell wrote that article without actually watching either of the test matches. Dhoni regularly had 3+ slips and gully in place and maintained attacking fields for long periods of time. The only points in the match where he went on the defensive was when India absolutely had to because McCullum/Williamson/Anderson were advancing the game quickly for NZ. Where Dhoni gets things wrong is team selection. You have to be able to take 20 wickets. One good bowler (Shami), a medium pace hack (Ishant), a 35 year old who is too old for test cricket (Zaheer) and a part timer (sorry Jadeja) aren't going to do that job. If they can continue to give Ishant so many chances, they need to afford Umesh, Bhuvneshwar and Pandey the same opportunities.
ThePhenomenal1 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 still can't believe people bash yadav as if we have mcgraths and steyns waiting in the wings. Lol this guy is the future and has performed almost everytime he shows up. He will be back in the groove soon hopefully and if he's backed by the captain (hopefully kohli), then he can improve and do his thing.
Kiwi Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Keith/Kaldeep/Kulvinder/whatever How about you get a clue before posting such rubbish. I just signed up to talk Indian selections but I'll first have a shot at a 'fellow kiwi' first because naturally that's what a Kiwi will want to do 7 in the morning :giggle: L.Ko

I'm just embarrassed by your posting. I followed the ODI and test threads across the series before I signed up and you were completely out of line. I'm not sure what the posters here have done to deserve your malice, but an eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind etc. Just enjoy the cricket, it doesn't need to be NZ vs India off the field. Oh and yeah, do actually wake up in the morning. I have a job, you know.
