England: everything is ****ed... home or away... Both teams seem to lack that knock out punch at the moment, and both teams are going through "transition", although for India that's less of an excuse seeing how well they played in the Champions Trophy. Other teams going through transition like NZ have done much much better. Let me make it clear still Indian team far better than crappy Pakistan team. This is worst Indian team in a decade and yet it still took both SL and Pakistan to last over with their best teams. Indian team is far better than England team in batting and bowling it is yet to be determined. England has an edge. The high ceiling when Indian team clicks is far better than England ever can reach.

bharat297 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 India by a long shot. * Poor batsmen (with the exception of 1 or 2) away * No genuine fast bowlers (possible exception of Yadav but he is either injured or not selected) despite a heavily funded Pace academy * No spinner * Selectors that constantly persist with non or under-performing players * Heavily diluted domestic competition * Poor coaches * Lazy players that purely care about the pay cheque in the IPL (despite the lip service they pay about playing for their country) * Delusional fans (not all) that will forget all problems as soon as India win their next ODI game at home. .... * And worst of all a corrupt board that don't care about any of the above. England have some problems, but they have a much better structure in place to deal with their problems.

So this notion that all other teams are somehow so superior to India is a fallacy. They need to give youngsters especially bowlers a chance then India is fine.
