Another short or let me say shortest career I have noticed was of Subroto Banerjee. This guy was Right Arm Medium Fast, played just one Test Match that too against Australia in Sydney , 1991 picking up three wickets for 47, those of Mark Waugh, Mark Taylor and Geoff Marsh in first innnings. Freddie was a greater all rounder than Botham. If not for injuries, he would have been a superstar today. KP would still play for any team till now. Only due to ugly politics in English team he is retired. So yes premature careers.
