Rahane should play like ipl ...others can just hit out without worrying .

ThePhenomenal1 Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 so glad aaron showed something today, was tired of people giving up on him already. no hard feelings towards bhuvi, we could have chased and 154 wasnt a bad target at all, just made to look difficult with poor batting from openers and poor captaincy from dhoni. My xi based on past + warmup: Dhawan, Rahane (better than rohit), kohli, raina, yuvi, dhoni, jadeja, mishra, ashwin, shami, aaron 2 seamers, 3 spinners + yuvraj/raina if needed. That allows us to alternate and play 3 seamers + 2 spinners with yuvraj and raina if needed.

And this excuse of of a warm up match doesnt quite make sense. You always play to win, especially with a team which hasnt won much for ages now. Anyways I dont have much hope with the team, so such an approach doesn't surprise me. Not really. This was mainly to give a hit to all the recalled players like Yuvraj, Raina. Kohli would never walk in at no.5 if India was going to go for win. It would have been pointless, if Kohli had done another Lungan bashing and India won with overs to spare.

Are you telling me MS Dhoni of all people cant come out for 4 deliveries to try and get the side home and send a positive message? On a slow, bangladesh track against a bowler who wont aim at his hands but at his feet rather?
