So we should discard H2H because of one clouded series. I agree that India has the edge due to 2011 WC but you cant disregard H2H because Pakistan has a fantastic record in Ind esp in ODIs. Most of us will not hesitate in admitting that Ind has dominated us in world cup games and would expect sane ICFers acknowledge that Pakistan was the better side in bilateral encounters. Pakistan has 55% win ratio against Ind at HOME with Pakistani umpires AND.. Has 63% win ratio in Ind with your umpires. In test cricket since I have been watching 1987 we have won four tests in your backyard and only two at home. Now a team that dominated you at your place with your umpires in both forms wouldn't need home umpires to beat you at home. Let's see. Pacers are required. We're back to pre 8-0 days with batting restored to the heydays of the mid-late 00s. But even then we had a fit ZAK. Truth be told, none of the three teams have the bowling for those conditions. And only India has the batting. That's why we we managed to draw a match.

By principle of Lahori Logic, WC is the pinnacle of tournaments and hence in ODIs only WC matters. Pakistan has never won against India in WC's. Hence, India has been the supremo team vs Pakistan. :proud:

I subscribe to this school of thought. And apart from owning a few Anarkalis, I have nothing to do with Lahore. India have consistently shown that they have the big game temperament when it comes to playing Pakistan in crunch WC ties. That sets them apart as the better team for me.
