Asim Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 That was completely out of order by Imran. I am huge fan but he had no right to call Srikant back. It looked bad on him and Pakistan. It implied that Imran was running the game. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk Now days its called "like a Boss" :giggle: but yes technically as commentator said right there, Imran simply can't do that but on srikant part what happened next was huge embarrassment, wonder if he ever spoke about that...
coffee_rules Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 So we should discard H2H because of one clouded series. I agree that India has the edge due to 2011 WC but you cant disregard H2H because Pakistan has a fantastic record in Ind esp in ODIs. Most of us will not hesitate in admitting that Ind has dominated us in world cup games and would expect sane ICFers acknowledge that Pakistan was the better side in bilateral encounters. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk Don't forget 1978 when we had to concede because of a Sarfaraz in a ODI win! http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64167.html Bishen Bedi conceded the match in protest against the short pitched bowling tactics of Pakistan. Sarfraz Nawaz's last 4 deliveries were all out of reach of the batsmen, and not called wide by the umpire. And also because of crowd trouble in 1989: http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/64347.html Match abandoned due to crowd disruption. How do you think we won in 2004 and 2006 ODIs (4-1) in Pak, the same way as Pak won in 1987 and 1999. and also in 2005 ? I think India and Pak were more or less even, except for Haarjah ODIs and the record in India in 1980s, so HTH and all needs to be looked at with a pinch of salt.
Midfielder Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I still remember when Majid Khan picked up the stumps and moved them and pakistan ump did nothing. That was the pits. No respect, absolutely no respect for you guys.
Utalk Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 I still remember when Majid Khan picked up the stumps and moved them and pakistan ump did nothing. That was the pits. No respect' date=' absolutely no respect for you guys.[/quote'] Must have been before my time. But honestly since 1887 I didn't see no biased umpiring in Ind Pak series. It annoys me when some of my countrymen try to play down Kumble's 10fer saying it was due to bad umpiring. There was one debatable decision but rest were fine. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Utalk Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 You are right. I should have added ball tempering and seam lifting too. My fault' date=' I forgot. The bottom line is you were not bad but not ten ft tall as your supporters claim.[/quote'] There you go. Mud slinging wont get us nowhere. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

Asim Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Midfielder you are getting tiresome. You put superior H2H down to Pakistani umpires but if you look at facts mate they tell us an entirely different story. Pakistan has 55% win ratio against Ind at HOME with Pakistani umpires AND.. Has 63% win ratio in Ind with your umpires. In test cricket since I have been watching 1987 we have won four tests in your backyard and only two at home. Now a team that dominated you at your place with your umpires in both forms wouldn't need home umpires to beat you at home. We won two tests in your own backyard in 99 when you were unbeatable at home. Like I said you guys are clearly the better side now and have been for a decade but these conspiracy theories are getting ridiculous. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk They (most of them) simply had an 'umpiring' excuse to cover-up Every historically speaking 'vs Paksitan' thing... I just wonder why its so difficult for them to simply accept, Yes, Pak was a much better side over the years... like I'll today easily accept Yes, Ind much better side right now...

Your WC win was well deserved.

We're back to pre 8-0 days with batting restored to the heydays of the mid-late 00s. But even then we had a fit ZAK. Truth be told, none of the three teams have the bowling for those conditions. And only India has the batting. That's why we we managed to draw a match.

They need to give rest to shammi and rotate bowler otherwise the results will be the same.

Shami/Bhuvi/Yadav?
Detonator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Indian team is filled with selfish cricketers after 83 to 2000.

Mariyam Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 By principle of Lahori Logic, WC is the pinnacle of tournaments and hence in ODIs only WC matters. Pakistan has never won against India in WC's. Hence, India has been the supremo team vs Pakistan. :proud: I subscribe to this school of thought. And apart from owning a few Anarkalis, I have nothing to do with Lahore. India have consistently shown that they have the big game temperament when it comes to playing Pakistan in crunch WC ties. That sets them apart as the better team for me.

Detonator Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 won benson hedges in 85. unbeaten and defeated pakis in final. yep there are 4 or 5 rare instances of team work if we see through a magnifying glass :giggle:
