Yuvraj a choker in the past

We sent him against a team that had spinners in top form and pitches were slow. Bad form + Slow pitch + Inform spinners = Perfect storm for Yuvi.

That was completely different scenario. He generally used to a good finisher and had the capability to play well under pressure. Won many games for India while chasing. But now he looks like he is past it.

For Audi car he was so desperate when Cheeka did not mind losing his wicket though he was an equal contender.

This way anyone can be a choker at some point of time. Even Dhoni or Bevan would have missed finishing a match or 2. And have you seen this match BTW? He was the lone warrior from India wherein scored almost half the runs and was dismissed by a peach of a slower one by Bravo. I remember this series more so coz I started hating Chappell after this match. We won the first match after which guru greg comes up in the media and said WInides have forgotten the art of winning matches. That kinda flared them up and beat us in all 4 remaning ODIs. We won the test series though :yay:

Choking is when you do a silly thing. Like what Misbah did in the 2007 World T20 final or something the SA team keeps doing. This was a very very good slower ball to which he was beaten. That ain't choking.

We needed 23 in 24..Powar played a needless shot and then we folded quickly after that ..painful memories And no wasn't a choke. Was a difficult pitch, we needed some 60 runs in last 10 with just 3 wickets left, Yuvi single handedly took us closer. We needed 11 from last over and then Bravo produced a brilliant slow yorker :((

Yuvraj's weakness was slower ones even at his peak pressure or no pressure. Also yorkers first up. But once he is in the zone anything you bowl to him will get creamed.

Don't quite remember the match but I do remember that incident when we were appealing for a run out but there were no umpires.

Losing is not chocking if you can't score 2 runs in 2 balls its a choke.
