Aaron Playing - Aggressive, Not much experienced, Pacy, Bouncy tracks so we need 4 Pacers to exploit conditions and be able to pick 20 wickets in the game. Confused in selection of Binny and R. Sharma, its on the captain whether he would like to have more depth in batting or in bowling. I might go for R. Sharma.

I dont think Rohit will play.its more between Ashwin and Binny.If its a dry track Ashwin will play else Binny

Yar kisiko bhi lo. You guys are talking as if we have to choose between marshals & mcgraths but the reality is all are inexperienced & not as though they are setting the word on fire. Looks fans will have to lean the hard way over eng and aus tours to understand and wake up to what test cricket is all about! Binny is decent FC player. That's it. That does not make you international player. He is in for one reason, Daddy!! Watch him play. As I said he is and will never be a player of International class and that too a test player... Yes I agree he got cheap wickets but he also scored 81 in practice match... I am still optimistic enough that India will win the series if they make the right selections and players perform to there strengths... Everyone is just hoping for a draw or to loose with lesser margin but being a true Indian Cricket Fan I would love to see India winning this... :antijinx:

As I said he is and will never be a player of International class and that too a test player... Yes I agree he got cheap wickets but he also scored 81 in practice match... I am still optimistic enough that India will win the series if they make the right selections and players perform to there strengths... that 81 was the ultimate cheap runs. Against one of worst county sides second 11. It gives no indication and I mean no indication of how he will fare against Anderson, Plunkett and Broad. Then in aus series v Johnson Put raina in these warm up games would have scored runs galore and looked awesome. Put him in test team would get bounced out in a jiffy. These runs in these warm up games mean nothing!

I am not backing Binny's selection rather I am predicting that he might be selected in playing XI even being such an average player... :beee:

in your line up you put dhobi at 5 hence my post we have no all rounder good enough to bat 6 or 7. Dhoni is poor test match bat so has to bat 7 at best. 6 front line batters, 1 wk, 3 seamers and 1 spinner is the composition needed. I believe even our idiotic captain will do this

Yes Agreed but IMO we need an extra Seamer in place of a front line batsman, We even lack the fire power in our bowling who could take 20 English wickets at there place... Hence an extra seamer... :icflove:

KT, no harm in binny replacing rohit. he can get a wicket or two, we dont know. might be able to grind it out a bit. alt was GG at 5, solid mid order then. but then dhoni at 7 and jad at 8 means 3 pacers.. need 4 tbh. Thats why i want saha in. GG reserve opener.. saha at 5 or 6 depends on what rahane is comfortable with. Thats 6 solid batsmen. Then have jadeja/spinner at 7, binny/4th seamer at 8, then your regular 3 seamers. What a test team!

Even Padosis were impressed by how he picked his doosra. Dhoni plays him well too.

I am feeling that Dhoni wants BINNY as the no 5 Bowler and which is a good News..I mean that Dhoni is looking for 5 bowler theory...i can bet if india play 5 bowlers India will keep england below 325 and if India lpay 4 bowlers england will declare at say 500 for 6 or what ever and finally India fights hard to save the Match.... if INDIA bats first and scores even 275...Still 5 bowlers can restrict england under 300 and keep the match going..4 bowlers will tire out the 3 Pacers and finally performance will dip. Binny got all us Icfer's to eat our words by taking 6 wickets in bangla...even in these practice games he seems to be a better bowler than we think.. i am not feeling too impressed with Bhuvi as it seems he has been played very well........ similiarly ishant seems to be bowling NO Balls too many... if Pankaj looked too Good - will he still not be played??? if varun looked good then will he not be played??? pandey seems to be bowling well..is he in contention to PLay???

If we keep dropping catches, even 6 specialist bowlers will not do. In the 2 practice matches, have already dropped some 5-6 chances. In last 13-14 tests, we have missed an average of 3 chances per match. We keep doing that and an average looking bowling attack will look even worse.

This is gonna be a dour series with not much quality. Two teams on the way down, lacking in flair with negative captains. Feel sorry for the fans who have already forked out good money to watch this dross.
