Neither Aaron nor Umesh are going full tilt. In a recent interview' date=' Aaron said injury is always at the back of mind and that is why he holds himself back now rather than giving his all.[/quote'] Yea Aaron was holding himself back in NZ and Asia cup clocking 150ks.The thing is these guys are basically Fast Medium kinda bowlers,nt trundlers but not fast. They clock quick bowls on certain days when they are in good rhythm and every thing in the action falls in perfectly.

Both Aaron and Umesh have been around that. Shami, you can call fast medium, but I am sure they can be faster than that. 150k plus becomes express pace category, but there is no bowler who can bowl 150 or more on a regular basis right now. Aaron and Umesh both had quickest at 149 this IPL. Aaron quickest in NZ 150, so their isn't much difference. Aaron was quicker on average with his new tricked action in NZ and Asia cup but he is now back to old one as it gives him better control. You don't need to be always express, anything around 140-145 with good control is good enough. Going over 145 will only make difference if you don't lose control especially in LOIs. Here is the interview excerpt. Read more at: http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/articleshow/35359612.cms?utm_source=contentofinterest&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=cppst

Even on their slowest days , they hit 144/145 k. I would call that fast. All fast bowlers bowl some 135 to 140 k spells in test matches. Look at Steyn.

19.6 Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, hit down the ground to long off for a single, exceptional execution of blockhole-bowling by Bumrah ... Mumbai take the game by 15 runs and are surging up the table. 19.5 Bumrah to Jadhav, 1 leg bye, a blockhole delivery speared into the pads, Jadhav can't make contact 19.4 Bumrah to Jadhav, FOUR, backs away outside leg and throws his bat at it, carving the ball over the fielder at short third man 19.3 Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, another blockhole delivery, excellent death bowling, Duminy can't get under it and so he drives it to long off 19.2 Bumrah to Jadhav, 1 run, in the blockhole once again, nothing much a batsman can do with that, Jadhav hits it through midwicket 19.1 Bumrah to Duminy, 1 run, full and straight, Duminy makes room and hits it along the ground to long-off

18.1 BHuvnesh Kumar to Dhoni, 3 runs, it's a misfield at cover and Irfan's the culprit, Dhoni drilled a full ball hard at him and he let it slip and as a result Warner had to do a lot of mopping up near the rope 18.2 Kumar to Hussey, no run, low full toss and he drills it back to the bowler, a dot ball here 18.3 Kumar to Hussey, 1 run, yorker outside off which he squirts down to third man 18.4 Kumar to Dhoni, 1 leg bye, just one, Dhoni shuffled across his stumps to sweep that and it was a good yorker, hits his pads and rolls away 18.5 Kumar to Hussey, 1 run, slams a full ball on the bounce down to long-off and that's Hussey's fifty! 18.6 Kumar to Dhoni, 1 run, missed out there, a low full toss and he mistimes it to long-off and he seems to have damaged the bat

Fit Umesh good news Sourav Ganguly has said it takes a "special effort" to win five matches in a row and Kolkata Knight Riders must be proud. A former captain with Knight Riders, Ganguly added that the form of Umesh Yadav in the recent Kolkata Knights Riders' wins is a good sign for India ahead of the important tour to England. Highlighting the team's pluses, Ganguly, in his column in gocricket.com, wrote, "it's not just been Uthappa . There have been a few other players who have also stepped up. Shakib Al Hasan has been amazing with the bat and ball and his batting form against CSK was superb. He hit the ball cleanly, and it will be a confidence booster to the middle order which had looked brittle at the start of the season. "For me, though, the best news has been Umesh Yadav's return to form. It will be heartening for the selectors and the Indian team since a fit Umesh is very important to the side. India are soon touring England and Australia later this year and his pace will be very important to the team. The Indian bowling attack needs that push and hopefully he can provide that."
