All we want is that - when he plays Test cricket - we want the original ChePu. Not this guy who doesnt move feet and wafts outside the offstump (like Sehwag) and then opens face and steers a catch to keeper (like pokemon Gambhir). This is NOT the ChePu we want during Tests. Hope this T20 naatak does not affect his Test game.

Kings 11 need him to hold one end up till 15th over especially in a low scoring game on a tricky pitch. He should keep that in mind & play for the team, not try to prove himself to anyone. Seriously someone should talk to him about this.

Right now its a case of setting his priorities right. If he can do that and concentrate on the longer version of the game then he can be a very, very good player and play test cricket for a long time. If not, then he will be the only one to blame.

No doubt he is a very good player for the longer format, i am just amazed at the support he gets here when every other Indian player is criticized.

He gets the support because he has the quality and mettle. However, if he is going to let thoothukudi-circus IPL and other short format crap to affect his mettle in Test cricket, then he will also get the brickbats.

ChePu usually doesnt play too many aggressive shots. But his concentration in general is supposed to be the best among our 11 (even much better than m.vijay). But these days even m.vijay is surpassing him in concentration and focus. Hope this is not the IPL effect.
