putrevus
this squad looks strong in batting even though they lack experience, everybody can handle the bat unlike our batting where the tail starts from nohit, 200/3 can become 260 all out in a jiffy. If top 4 get out early we might not reach 180. Link to comment
tweaker
India have a good chance to win in England against such inexperienced side Link to comment
undisputed chap
India have a good chance to win in England against such inexperienced side Most of our side apart from dhobi, pisshant & gambhir will be playing their first test on English soil so that argument doesn't hold. Link to comment
undisputed chap
No need for spirit of game bs Link to comment

Scarves
Great start for SL with 3/358 at Day 1 against Northamptonshire. Kaushal Silva - 152* Lahiru Thirimanne - 120* Good signs but this bowling attack is okay but not England class. Link to comment
Chandan
India have a good chance to win in England against such inexperienced side For winning, India needs to take 20 wickets and with this bowling line up There is no chance for it! They've even dropped Yadav. Anyway, let us not derail the thread! Link to comment
CoverDrive
a very new look side. Trott is a big miss and Cook and Bell have to carry the side as so many new faces are starting. maybe a good thing for them Link to comment
Straight Drive
Moeen Ali is a good choice over Samit Patel for a test series played in England. Link to comment
kirisatha96
SL's batting will make Chris Jordan's bowling look like Malcom Marshall in the tests. Link to comment
Lord
Can't believe we'll lose to this squad  Link to comment
Austin 3:!6
Pakistan will be ranked no.3 if Sri Lanka wins today. A team which do not have any test series win for the past 3 years (incl. a drawn series against Zimbabwe) will move to rank 3 if Srilanka beat England today. Pathetic ranking system :headshake: Link to comment
adi B
when we were ranked 2nd for at least 6 months last year(rest of the teams barring saf were mediocre) ,did we complain about the ranking system? see this is the way ranking systems work.congrats in advance to pak but i am sure even pak fans would agree that they didnt do well in 2013 Link to comment

Out of the 8 test India played in 2013, we won 6 of them. So we deserved to be at no. 2 then. Link to comment
CoverDrive
Well done Matthews Guy took a lot of deserved flak in his first series as a captain for his defensive tactics against pakistan. but he has been great here in this test - contributed with ball and bat and has shown wonderful temperament. Sanga has been sublime all throughout the series but without matthews his performance would have been like Dravid in our last Eng tour Link to comment
King Tendulkar
I believe Matthews is a tamil. Is that right? SL have Tamil skipper? Link to comment
King Tendulkar
A supreme knock. One I will remember for a long time Link to comment
