Looked at the TN results in detail and DMK were crushed by big margins in most other states. And these are regular occurances in TN. DMK/ADMK sweeping polls.In 2004 and 96 ADMK didnt win a single seat and DMK lost all in 91 All this will force is DMK to go for alliance with PMK and others for Assembly elections. Last LS elections DMK won 27 seats despite being in power mainly becoz the opposition was divided.But DMK were routed in Assembly polls becoz Jaya swallowed her Ego and put together a strong alliance. One would expect DMK to get a much stronger alliance in Assembly polls (DMK + DMDK + PMK + Congress)So her bigger test is the assembly elections. I will agree DMK are in disintegration if they fial to win the assembly elections in 2016

Question here is about the Sonia & Rahul, party high command, not a single word about Modi & BJP.May be we have to think that no negative words from them is itself a big compliment :--D the guy spends a year lamblasting you and your family using choiciest expletives...and u expect them to forgive him...this is not cricket where everything is good off the field....atleast they are being honest and not congratulating just to score some brownie points...obviously there is bad blood and they would wait to return the favor...nothing wrong in doing so...to be fair they woshed the new govt well and that is a one man govt ...so in a way they did congratulate him

I ASKED (write this word 1000 times on a piece of paper and understand what it means) whether Modi congratulated or not. It means IDK whether he did and I am merely asking more well informed folks. Instead of giving a Yes or No answer you replied with, "He's not a top leader" but "Sonia did it" but "He did it" like it happens in LKG in schoosl when kids justify wrongs of each other. This is what blind bhakti is that you so accuse other posters here of. Did I anyway defend Sonia/Rahul for their actions? NO. I only made a factual comment about MMS and moved on. Was he even projected as a PM candidate? He might have congratulated but there is little chance that might get newspaper mention. There is a difference between Sonia raga not congratulating Modi in this election.
