zen Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 ^ what are your views on Modi' s perfomance. Modi has a proven record as the CM of Gujarat and on potential he is probably the strongest PM since Indira Gandhi. His performance so far has been good esp. wrt strengthening ties with countries such as US, Japan, Australia, etc. With "Make in India" campaign, he is trying to create a top of the mind recall for international investors. He is also working internally to impart more skill based education which could be useful to many than just having degrees and no practical knowledge. The cleanliness drive was a positive step as well. Bureaucrats are coming to work on time as well When it comes to relations with Pakistan, he needs to develop a consistent policy. There is a lot to be done in terms of infrastructure including developing storage facilities for food and other essentials so prices can be controlled. Have to see what the budget is to make additional comments. But Ind should give him 2 years to bring the changes required to implement his economic policies As for the areas he can improve or needs to focus on - population, pollution and poverty. Hopefully, he can come up with a comprehensive planning policy. At times, he has acted like the BJP PM rather than a national one so this is one area he can work on. Minorities have looked at him for assurances as well so may be he needs to be more communicative. There has to be a proper planning for defense as well. All the equipment that is required to modernize the defense forces over the next 10 years should be in place. Ind should give Modi 2 years to settle down in the role as the PM. It is a huge task to lead a country of 1.2B :nice:
surajmal Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 R Rajan's end as RBI chief is also near (my prediction) for all but calling Namo hitler outright. Go polish your masters' shoes, you IMF chamcha.
surajmal Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 And what a little b!tch Amartya Sen is. bye bye little b!tch. The head office of nalanda university is in lutyens Delhi. So the paltan of scumbags headed by this maha scumbag was gonna ressurect the finest educational institution of antiquity by sitting a thousand miles away. Indians should realize that the gungadeens aren't making them chewtiyas by stealing in broad daylight. If robbery happens with this frequency, aap pehle se hee chewtiya the.

Problem is, people have a rat race mentality. Understandable, but we must stop being ignorant.

Cannot understand why he got invited to a lecture on democracy and inclusion at first place.
Raghav_12 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 BJP may give in on Art 370, not AFSPA, Naidu hints : http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Lifting-AFSPA-from-Valley-not-an-option-Venkaiah-Naidu-says/articleshow/46306853.cms Forming a government with PDP in Kashmir is great opportunity for BJP. BJP must take it order of the interests of the country. Hope BJP compromises on their agenda to get this combination going and they ignore the hawkish calls from the RSS and other Sangh fraternity. This move will go long way in aligning Kashmir with rest of the country, the only way through which issue can be resolved in favour of India.

He should and will stay.

It was the same S&P that certified dog sh!t as AAA which caused the housing crash and great recession. I'd hold my horses until Jaitley's budget is out.
surajmal Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Moi is waiting for the joint session that will be called to ram the LAB through. If that happens, Namo has finally gone beast mode. And then sickulars better prepare to walk the green mile.

NIC is transferring PMO site to new servers due to that few pages temporarily appear as password protected
