Its not as if he wanted to bowl full tosses. He was aiming for the yorker.

There was apparently a bit of dew last night as the commentators were saying. He was most probably trying for a yorker and ended up delivering a full toss. Either way, that was some real poor thinking from Faulkner. Surely he would've tried to something unpredictable, like a slower ball on a length, or a wide yorker with the required protection behind square on the off side. But I guess they decided they'll just keep it simple rather than try something different.

Its a given now IPL will have renewed interest, Chennai/Mumbai/Kolkata all glued.. Guess MI will probably beat CSK as its a home game and it might be KKR vs Queens or MI.. #Justsaying.

Did you even watch the games. I didn't watch the MI game but was at Eden watching live the KKR vs srh game. How the hell that was fixed I fail to understand. Easy catches were dropped by both teams. In fact Pathan himself dropped a easy catch from Sammy when he was on zero. That allowed srh to post huge score. Plus Steyn bowled the same against NZ in T20 WC and was called the greatest. He bowled the same against abdv in ipl and abdv was hailed the greatest. Now he bowled the same against Pathan and was taken to cleaners and match was fixed? Your thought is pathetic and you should watch live more IPL games. Yes there will be quite a comic relief but some exceptional cricket is there also. Sobers wasn't in Imran's generation. Imran and Sobers are quite comparable. One is the best batting all rounder of all time, the other is the best bowling all rounder of all time. The Afridi-ABDV comparison is pretty hilarious though. Better to do an Afridi-Sammy comparison IMO.

As I said....the teams are not prefect....but sometimes ends up producing great t20 match.
