Also, we all know Gambhir will play anyway being senior, so no pint debating this topic. But if you look my team I put above, I want 5 bowlers to play (3:2 seam/spin). Ashwin and jaddu together can be our answer to no. 7 batsman (Rahane).

Cost us 2 test wins in last 2 tours. And why drop Rahane who has a century in his last test and pick Rohit who hasn't done anything of note? About Gauti/Vijay, I'm not sure Gambhir is going to be a starter. Probably the other way around.
