Yes, infact TMC, NCP, BJD are also in favour of GST. The parties which are against it are Congress (ironical as this is their bill and government is giving them credit also), Left (they oppose anything and everything) and AIADMK (hopefully day before yesterday's meeting of Modi with Jaylalitha would have sorted out the matter).

Govt refuses to name the CheerGirl who vandalized the wiki page of Jawaharlal nehru , posting vulgar and slanderous lies.

The National Informatics Centre, software solution provider of the government, has withheld information on who altered the Wikipedia page of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and posted scandalous information about him on the grounds it may have “security implications”. In response to a RTI application, the software solution provider said it was withholding the information based on the input received from the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT)-IN. The reply, however, does not cite any exemption clauses given in the transparency law,
Perhaps it was the Pradhan Dramey-baaz himself ; PM does have a lot of time on his hands . :hmmm: http://indianexpress.com/article/india/india-others/nic-refuses-to-reveal-identity-of-those-who-altered-jawaharlal-nehru-wikipedia-page/?SocialMedia#sthash.VxLlhm9a.dpuf

Rupee falls to 2 Year low against USD since Sept 2013 crisis , following the devaluation of the Chinese Yuan .

The rupee dropped sharply on Wednesday to touch its weakest level against the dollar since 2013, as China’s move to devalue the yuan sparked fears of a global currency war. The partially convertible rupee weakened to as much as 64.66 per dollar shortly after trading opened, its weakest level since September 2013, when the country was in the midst of its worst currency turmoil since the 1991 balance of payment crisis

So many Strawmen , so little time . 2 years ago it was the fault of Dr. MMS , Jawaharlal Nehru , Edwina Mountbatten and Thomas Macaulay. Great Tooter in 2013 : "When we got independence, 1 rupee was equal to 1 dollar. When Atalji became PM, 1 dollar was equal to 42 rupees and when he left, 1 dollar was equal to 44 rupees." Under an Economist PM Rupee has collapsed to 60 " If the devaluation of the Yuan is responsible for Indian currency hitting a 2 year low Is it possible that the competitive devaluation during 2009-2011 impacted the Rupee too ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Currency_War_of_2009%E2%80%9311

Yep comparing decades with 15 months... Can it get more retarded?
Can we have a countdown as to in how much time will this poster go back to 2002 riots. They have nothing to debate man, nothing left to debate.

I have no formal education of economics but actually Rupee seems very strong compared most of reserve currencies apart from dollar. If anything it needs to devalue further by at least 10-15%. You cant have make in India without currency manipulation

Can we have a countdown as to in how much time will this poster go back to 2002 riots. They have nothing to debate man' date=' nothing left to debate.[/quote'] Social media is busy discussing about Modi faking his degree apparently because the website pmoindia.gov.in used to carry educational details in it's "About PM" page, but now doesn't. Retards don't realize that Modi's personal things are focussed on his other official website - narendramodi.in where the qualifications are still listed. Not to mention that the official government website (india.gov.in) and Lok Sabha site still list his educational qualifications for everyone to see. Retards are blaming PMO for not responding to an RTI filed for disclosing PM's qualifications, without realizing RTI is a tool designed to obtain info that is not in the public domain. And retards also seem not to understand that PMO has no business retaining any info about Modi's educational qualifications simply because its not a pre requisite for the job! Retards can file RTIs with Guj university and Delhi University but apparently won't do. :giggle:

How Maharashtra Won That $5 Billion FDI Deal (Naan as Deal-Sweetener?)

Mumbai / Delhi: It took two months of courting, dozens of negotiators and final talks that ran into the early hours, but Maharashtra secured its prize: a $5 billion investment commitment from iPhone maker Foxconn. The 5-year deal, announced last weekend, is a reminder of the pulling power of India's wealthiest states - even as the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi hits its biggest reform roadblocks to date, over tax and land reform. India's states, often led by charismatic local heavyweights, have long courted big businesses individually. But for the first time under PM Modi, previously Chief Minister of Gujarat, states are actively encouraged to find solutions to reform hurdles and to compete themselves for investors' cash. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met Foxconn's management for the first time when he travelled to China with the PM in May. Officials travelling with him said Terry Gou, Foxconn's chief, spent a day with Mr Fadnavis then, and led a factory tour. They met several more times before a charm offensive - and possibly Mr Gou's professed love of naan bread - got Foxconn what it needed: a hint that value-added tax refunds could be extended beyond the usual 7-9-year limit, permission for solar power generation and help with financial transfers. Days before Foxconn's agreement, General Motors announced it would invest $1 billion in India, largely to expand its main plant in Maharashtra. On Tuesday, South Korean steelmaker POSCO said it would set up a new steel plant in the state, with an Indian partner.

Was just about to post this, but you beat me to it. Just goes to show why there is a need for states to fiercely compete with each other for foreign funding rather than begging for special packages all the time.

swati chaturvedi ‏@bainjal 4h4 hours ago Am amazed at how the entire Bjp fervently believes in victim hood! Majority in lok sabha! Nope still victims. Hilarious day a govt with full majority does a protest march, a PM who maintains a stoic silence hates dissent calls the sit "Emergency"!

modi govt has not removed Robert Vadra's name from no-frisking list at airports reveals RTI

From May 2014, several media reports suggested that Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra may have lost special privileges he enjoys at civil airports in the country, but an RTI reply reveals otherwise. This RTI response contradicts a lot of information in the public domain. The civil aviation ministry had reportedly demanded for Vadra’s name to be removed from the list of dignitaries in November last year. The Home Ministry was expected to take a call on the matter but it would seem that it hasn’t.
