The ED is part of the Ministry of Finance . Swamy goes on to say that he had given the ED director "a detailed report of money-laundering carried out by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and four others in the acquisition of National Herald's publishing company" while alleging that an "invisible hand" is stopping the ED from launching an investigation. In another letter to Modi dated August 12, he details out the case and adds that the ED refused to register a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act against the mother and son duo. Mr.Swamy should have the courage to name the "invisible Hand" that is preventing the Enforcement Directorate from launching an investigation into Corruption of Sonia and Rahul . Along with remittances of 70 billion and falling commodity prices keeping the trade balance in check (despite falling exports) I think India is headed for a very strong macroeconomic position. 70 billion remittance and 50 billion FDI should eat into the 140 odd billion trade balance. CAD should be in between 1-2% of GDP which is a solid place for India to be in. At the height of the 2013 crisis India had a CAD of 5% of the GDP due to total mismanagement by the Congress led UPA. If India can get remittances to touch 100 billion and FDI to get to 70-80 billion per financial year IMO we should be running a small current account surplus by 2019. The GDP too will be solidly 8% growth plus.

Cos. like foxconn and xiomi are investing too, should reduce trade deficit with china regarding electronics items. (as per some crude oil forecasts it could be ~85 USD per barrel in 5 years which could change the equation slightly but for now it is hard to believe that it could go upto $85)
