Detonator Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 My entire family using BSNL ever since they launched it. However, My dad's first mobile has a BPL sim in a really huge phone when I was a kid. He said that even incoming calls are charged at Rs. 5 per minute. He has this national song as a ring tone at that time.
Rotating Potato Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 The only true professional carrier. Vodafone. Sometimes gives upto 500 kBps on 3g.
sscomp32 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Reliance CDMA for Calling. BSNL and Airtel for Internet. Airtel is super consistent in My area but too expensive so i use BSNL when i have to do heavy downloading. Used reliance 2G some time ago for Internet because of most data limit but the speed is pathetic.
BlueBee Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Airtel 3G - Awesome speed. I get about 700kbps Vodafone 2G - Sometimes the internet goes to eat grass in the field and dont return for 2-3 days :((
StriKe Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Vodafone(Hutch->Orange) Using it for very long time :sniffle: Vodafone service is good for me but they keep increasing plan/call rates every 2-3 months for past 1.5 Years  1GB 3G/Month - 249Rs now...It was 124Rs last month  3G speed is awesome for me
Lord Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Airtel 3G - Awesome speed. I get about 700kbps Vodafone 2G - Sometimes the internet goes to eat grass in the field and dont return for 2-3 days :(( :hysterical::hysterical:
Tiger80 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 For calling I have tried Reliance CDMA, GSM Airtel , Vodafone and Aircel. In term of price and quality for calls there is no network better than Relliance CDMA .With 92 rupees rate cutter you can get 25/30p per minute local call to any network. For 3G Reliance gsm is better in Gurgaon than airtel but very bad in Noida
Old guy Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 airtel and they recently started 4g in punjab but only 3 phones support it and also 3g (its idea 3g technically ) speed is fine also only reason i use it is i get service everywhere even while travelling
