vvvslaxman
If they run like this without energy against Belgium they will have their ass handed to them.
rajmarie
If they run like this without energy against Belgium they will have their ass handed to them. USA will not play the same against Belgium. Today the field was soggy...& USA didn't want any other serious injury concern. Against Belgium...will be totally different performance.
maniac
No one cares about USA Team :hehe: USA :hehe: They will crash out in the first round itself. Maniac's love for mediocrity :dontknow: Would do well to draw 1-2 matches. Americans are waiting for the real football to start from September. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: :bhangra: I had to double check to confirm if it is Sir John who started this thread. USA will finish last in their group.

SLICKR392
US's biggest setback was the shots on target. They had what...1 shot on target? In these conditions it's tough to score and equally increases the difficulty of keeper's job. They might have got at least got 1 in if they had got anywhere near the box in the first 90mins. They were significantly sluggish. They are better than this. There were several times they were out of sync. Passed balls where nobody was there. None of them were inflicted by Germany. Germany played their best game. USA their worst game.

RedFever
USA has qualified to round of 16 in last world cup too. So until now the performance may be on par. The real game starts now.
vvvslaxman
USA has qualified to round of 16 in last world cup too. So until now the performance may be on par. The real game starts now. This year they were expected to be trounced by all 3 teams. So this is a bigger achievement. Last 16 That is quiet an achievement. How about teams that went out from "fake games" England mhe Italy Spain Portugal

rajmarie
Who will stop the american juggernaut.....hope its not Bradley :nervous: Atleast that's not gona happen against Belgium. Belgium playing some sluggish soccer themselves. So IMO...USA starts favorites against Belgium....as USA probably played the best European team Germany today & came out 0-1 only...despite playing their worst soccer in this tournament. Remember its not played on paper...otherwise teams like Spain, England & Italy were not back in their own country,

yoda
US doing better than football heavy weights like Italy, Portugal and England. BTW, the US has been playing in the WC since 1950, not sure why it's considered a non-football country.
