Midfielder
USA along with Ghana has the better athletes at every position. Yedlin has olympic type scorching speed, wish Klinsman brings him in little sooner.
BeautifulGame
Never seen a forward worse than Altidore in PL. At times he was farcically comical for Sunderland last season nearly relegating them. Really struggling to see how he gets into this US team.
BeautifulGame
Belgium are not getting their ass kicked from anyone. Defensively they are the best or at least in the top 3 with Germany and Brazil. They are yet to lose a game when Courtois has kept and are unbeaten in something like 13 games. They didn't lose a single game in qualifying, not easy to do in European qualifying. There midfield and attack is also fairly complete. This Belgium team is strong in every position, there's a reason they started 5th favorites. They are yet to click in the tournament still won all 3 games. No one will be kicking their ass, 1 goal win max (not from USA) Even england didn't lose a single game in qualification .Actually eng havnt lost a WC qualification game since 2006 . Qualification records mean nothing in the finals

No they don't . Both English full backs are better than Belgium and England have better strikers as well. Cahill is a better CB than the likes of Vermaleen as well And if u are comparing with England squads of 2006 only Hazard and Courtious get into that Eng First XI

Komapany, Van Buyten pairing > English pairing. They have an underrated defense but later on when they are lifting the cup it will be proven otherwise. :two_thumbs_up: Belgium know how to get the best out of Fellani and De Bruyne. Mertens is playing really well. Hazard is world class. Lukaku struggling so far but before the world cup he was playing well and may start clicking now (the striker that replaced him did well). Then they have other super talent Adnan Januzaj. They are a very young team, many 20-23 year olds reaching their prime whereas England is all media hype overrated crap. The Belgium manager knows how to use his players and they will deliver. This is their golden generation and they were 5th favorites at start. :ohyeah: i don't see USA scoring 1 goal past Belgium. They only conceded 1 goal so far and last game they were 10 men. That 1 goal was a from a penalty.

cowboysfan
they need to build a team with identity, atm they have no real philosophy of play but they have some young players coming up,i think they will be better in the next WC.

Midfielder
US did real well, considering this is the maybe sixth or seventh popular sport in US.
Silva
US is missing a skilled Midfielder and center back that can make passes and keep possession. Thats the problem with american sports in general. Even in Basketball the NBA looks to import skill players. American coaches and scouts look more for athletic ability rather than skill.
