What about the more developed countries? Secondly, you want to turn Hinduism into a carbon copy of those intolerant religions? Thirdly, Hinduism allows mocking of Gods. Our Gods always had a sense of humor. If you do not know this, you are not a true Hindu anyways so whats the fuss?

Nothing to do with the judge being from Andhra but a precedent has to be set for time and again people taking advantage of Hindu religious figures....If we ourselves show no respect why blame australia for having Hindu gods on designer toilets or U.S for having images of Hindu gods on a beer.... This has nothing to do with DHoni or my opinion of him,why always take advantage of the sensibilities of one religion,either go all out like some of the humor in U.S(South Park etc) or just don't go towards any religion.

First i have absolutely no idea why an educated youth would be so upset about what is a cartoon Secondly, you are clearly accepting your anger has nothing to do with Hinduism Thirdly, I as a Hindu, cannot be responsible for the action of other religion. However, I am responsible for my religion, one of the most tolerant and peaceful religion in the world. I do not want to see it become militant and ridiculed. A cartoon will not harm my religion. However, violent reactions and bans will make it a hateful or mocking thing

As I mentioned,my anger is on double standards. Our scriptures can be ridiculed,So many jokes on episodes from Ramayana and Mahabharata in India but no respite for Taslima and Salman Rushdie....now I am not saying put a Fatwa on the ad dsigner or Dhoni's head am I?,My religious upbringing is not like that but I am saying why the double standards? The guy who puts a warrant out is justified to feel offended period....Now if he collects a group of people and tries to perpetuate an act of violence that is idiococy. Hope you see the difference

Yep' date=' enjoy all perks and freedom of the west, try to impose the most backward of cultures and lack of freedom back home[/quote'] Yes I do enjoy the perks living in the west...... and I am not imposing anything,I wouldn't be offended by this if our nation as a whole was tolerant on everything and saw everything at the same level.The problem is our younger generation thinks it is cool to ridicule one religion and cooler to respect all minorities but the fact is in my opinion it is either cool to mock all religions equally in the boundaries of good taste or even cooler to respect everyone equally and keep your mouth shut By the way I am a minority in the west and neither am I treated as a 2nd class citizen or neither do I enjoy special benefits because of my minority status.

This definitely warrants a jail sentence for Dhoni. Keep him banged up until he is not able to play international cricket. Then he can come back out.
