I think BCCI should have scheduled a series v BD which included tesr cricket, The last time we played a test match was in Jan. Thats a break of nearly 6 months. these guys are really rusty. It tells that Punkaj singh has been playing ranji cricket and looks the best of the pack

Don't think it will be easy for dhoni to pick ishant in first test unless he comes up with some good performance in next warm up. public protest against ishant is becoming more and more vocal. people have started publicly ridiculing him on the ground.

I am hopeful of Pankaj. Because he has various weapons like swing, seam movement, bounce and decent pace to take advantage of different playing conditions. Simply put, he can succeed under different situations.

Its just a warmup no player will try slogging in a test match, its easy to slog when there is no worry to get out. Besides Indians got their lengths wrong for most part and the pitch was lame they will get it right eventually
