As i said sachin was never a marketable personality ever to take his brand global. Can you imagine him fronting energy drinks or nike campaigns on a global level with his frame... Dude she is American and not Russian....Ye she plays for Russia but she has lived 90% of her life here....Now if she had said SRT is a great player and her favorite-That would be an outrageous statement as she would be the last one you would expect watching cricket....SRT is a sporting icon to almost 1/3rd of the worlds population and given the Indian dispora in U.S,Europe,the fact that she never even heard the name in her life is ridiculous especially being in sports.
