that guy is as weak as my grandma. even a fan can knock him over if its on.

You don't bowl 90 mph as a 18-19 year old without having strength. This guy is anything but weak. He could definitely add some more muscle. Has had injury setbacks but once his body fully develops, he could still go onto have a very good career.

Nagarkoti probably does.

Yes but he is too short around 5'7-8. Need to be at least 5'10-6 range. Also depends on musculoskeletal whether he is meso or ecto or endo. He seems more Ectomorph, thinner bone structure like Pandya.

Pace depends more on type of muscle fibres, less strength. You may not be strong but can still bowl quick if you have right muscle fibers. You are born with them. You can increase the size of myofibrils in the muscles but can't increase the amount of fast twitch muscle fibers. It's all genetics, gene ACTN3 gene responsible for speed.

6 pack is impressive but he is literally bones man. He needs to add 5 klos of muscle. Absolutely bowling 90 mph requires strength. However, its more to do with power than static strength.

He needs to strengthen his ligaments and muscles without sacrificing power. Thats key. Hopefully he does.

Look at pandya. He is ripped but still weak. He needs to get physically stronger. Yea sure he has power just like nagarkoti but that wont prevent injuries. Moreso, it wont allow him to sustain speeds for long periods. Thats where strength and strength endurance is important.

Someone who is physically strong and powerful is umesh. Dude is legit an animal. Easily the strongest bowler going around. Seriously. All that coal mining strength. Dude is a monster.

exactly. i know many guys who are physically weak and diminutive but they can punch exceptionally hard. They can knock even a heavyweight out. Its god's gift.

Power is different to strength. You can be powerful yet still weak.

It has a lot to do with musculoskeletal structure.

Endomorphs will probably lack the flexibility to

bowl at express speed. Not a rule but more the general trend.

Mesomorphs will probably be ideal.

Nagarkoti maybe more of an ectomorph but his short height and less weight will also mean less stress on connective tissues and joints of the feet and knees.

As he was bowling 90 mph+ at age 18, he definitely has the fast twitch fibres. As the bones in his back strengthen with age, he may actually increase his speed and be relatively injury free.

This is the irony of fast bowlers ,they can be so strong yet so fragile.Milne, wood  also had lot of injuries ,both taller than koti but similar build. He needs to sort things out ,sad to see him always on the sidelines.

Koti is still quite young. Next 2 years are crucial for him. Needs to play lot of Ranji trophy.

But less muscle mass means more stress on joints and bones.

Shami is same height as Koti but different musculoskeletal structure.

Shami's real age is probably 35 or 36. With his rather heavy muscoskeletal structure, he is still able to bowl 140 k to 145 k, even after his 20th over of the day, probably because he is short and his absolute weight is still not that high.

If he were 5'11"+ and had a similarly heavy structure, it would be difficult for him after real age 32.
