Ever since then, we have not had Jadeja do anything with the bat. He failed in the 2015 World Cup with bat and with ball against top sides.

 

Failed in CT 2017 with ball in both losses vs SL and in the final. Failed with bat as well.

 

In 2019 World Cup, Chahal did OK and Jadeja seemed to be in good form but Kuldeep was horrible. Again, we missed the extra pacer especially in the match against England where spinners got smashed . 

 

The seamers together went at less than 6 RPO and took 6 wickets between them while spinners went at 8 RPO . Pandya had Roy when they were 49 but fraud Dhoni didn't want a review. They went on to make 160 opening partnership. We could have beaten that overrated team even then had we played the extra fast bowler through the middle instead of these profligate spinners.

 

We must play at least 3 genuine fast bowlers in all conditions no matter what. And no more than 2 spinners in exceptionally spin friendly conditions.

 

We are blessed with someone like Hardik and we can actually have at least 36 overs( on a good day, 40) of high quality pace and a high quality wrist spinner offering another 10. Just 4 overs of part time spin is needed.

 

We cannot keep sacrificing genuine batting depth and depth in pace attack for so-called spin bowling allrounders. Have 1 of them if you must but 2  when you can slot in the extra quick is absolutely dumb. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In odis he wasnt much different from other indian captains.Should have atleast backed shami in those condtions.

His economy is way too high

He needs to work on his line onnwar footing,picks a wicket for his pace though now

He was having issues with the landing area as well...his front foot was slipping a bit during the delivery stride.

He has pace and hence he is able to get wickets, but his radar is still off.

 

At the moment, he is not suitable for T20..need to work more on his line, lengths are spot on.

I think some "expert" must have told him to bowl slow..as it's an spinning pitch.

Moment they get an opportunity,they will influence youngsters to bowl slow and bat cautiously

If he gets his shot, he should be fearless, stop overthinking and get back to doing what he knows best viz bowling 150 plus. Stop taking advice and look to get the batsman out or retired out lol.
