Worse thing is he was saying, even in older days good batsman weren't scared of pace.

See the interviews of Allan Border, Ian Chappell, Graham Gooch all of them have mentioned about the fear factor and intimidation by the Windies pace quartet.

The nuances of pitching is what is missing,that DNA needs to be developed

SENA newcomers fairly know where to pitch and the purchase they get from it help them get confidence and mature

First thing we need is good bouncy pitches maybe up North in winters when most of domestic cricket is played as mentioned in one of my threads

This Punjab pitch was also slow low

Seems to be in 138-146 range. His bowls though seems fast and don't lose much pace after hitting the deck.

Selectors & experts who think Umran & Tyagi are not ready...why don't they look at someone like Mayank instead of looking at Mukesh or Unadkut.

 

Proper fast bowler who bowls in good areas, has control and a mean bouncer...and is only 21/22 year old.

Saw cracking yorkers, hostile bouncers plus he was trying to bowl to a plan. 

 

Got 2 wickets with quick short balls.
