Will India avoid the follow on?

With Cook, Ballance and Bell grinding the toothless and inconsistent bowling to dust and with the pathetic fielding, can India avoid the follow on? Unless the weather intervenes, its 1-1 at the end of Southampton test.

India need to bat 8 sessions in 2 innings at rate of about 3.25 to 3.5...This match has come to just this equation...time for Pujara and Kohli to fill in...best pitch for them to pile on biggies...

India need to do what SA did in the Test they drew today...eat as many overs as possible in their first innings...much easier to do it in first innings than second

True. In the 2nd innings, the pressure will be much more. Plus, the pitch may deteriorate somewhat.

Yes. Our batsmen have all the time in the world. We need our entire top order to show up, take their time, frustrate the English bowlers and stroll their way to tons over a span of 2-3 days. Concentration will be key.
