Sleep between 1-2am' date=' wake up 7:30. I don't feel smarter in the morning. More like a Neanderthal[/quote'] Sleeping late doesn't mean not getting enough sleep. Owls have a later cycle. They sleep late and sleep in till late. Their energy levels peak during the afternoon/evening when they are at their best productivity wise. Larks on the other hand have a great energy level earlier in the day Around 5-6 hours of sleep are no where near enough for anyone, though most people nowadays only sleep so much

How much sleep is needed depends on person to person ' date=' a very deep sleep of 6-7 hours is enough but otherwise 8 hours of sleep is needed.[/quote'] True. However, in owls and Larks the deep sleep cycles vary too. An owl like me gets their deepest sleep between 5am and 10-11 am. So if I sleep at 12 and get up at 7-8, I still feel sleepy and not rested. But if I sleep at 4 and get at 9-10, I feel fully rested

I sleep at around 4-6 AM and wake up at 8 AM. (During classes)
This is very bad for your health. No matter how much extra you sleep on weekends, sleep deprivation can never be made up. Once you give up sleep for a few months, it has a permanent affect on you. Your IQ points will drop over the years and this is permanent. The brain needs it's rest

include laaloo too in the dumb list :hahaha:

The doctors prescribed me some 1MG Lunesta sleeping pill to take twice per week. Have been sleeping better now, but not more than 4 hours. I chew a lot of gum to stay focused.

For me, the time I go to sleep is also important. Sleeping from 11PM - to even 4AM is more better than 2AM - 9AM. I feel much better in the morning if I go to sleep early. Don't need any sleeping medications to sleep either. You guys would be surprised how Americans have prescriptions for sleep medications. I guess being a materialistic society can do that to you. I don't drink coffee either, and I work out everyday so by 10pm, I'm tired so sleeping is easy.

During my classes I leave home at 9AM and get back at 10 and sometimes 11PM. All I want to do when I get back home is sleep but once I'm back to my room I watch a movie, some TV series, phone calls and go back to sleep at 5AM. If I do try sleeping early, I break my sleep every 30 mins and that gets really annoying.

The doctor said this. I used to play for 48 hours straight. Don't have the time to play anything now.

I can understand I have never got into heavy gaming but it's very addictive and one can easily go on and play for hours without noticing

you are stimulating your brain too much.Listen to some audiobook if you feel restless in bed.It will take some time but you can get to a normal sleep routine if you try.
