Currently, we simply have no experience at top or middle order. Sehwag, Gambhir, Yuvraj and Harbhajan Singh is supoosed to be a transition generation bridging new players with Tendulkar, Dravid generation.Because of Dhonis stupidity and stubborness that generation is gone. They also became complacent after world cup win. Sehwag infact has stated numerous times that he would like to play in Tendulkars slot in tests after Tendulkar retires.He was never given that slot and dumped from opening slot in test.I say, bring him in to bat at number 4 slot. Seeing Kohli and Pujara play this series, Iam sure if Sehwag is selected in test as middle order batsman and gets back in form, he can play well. The last I remember he made a century in MCC match batting at number 4, recently.Enough of this too much youngster beauty nonsense. A blind Sehwag anyday is better than hacks Dhawan or Rohit.Our fielding might also improve a bit.

All our greats retired without their successors being nurtured. Ganguly retired in 2008 but instead of Pujara or Kohli or Tiwary they kept playing Raina Yuvraj etc and after 6 years that slot is still vacant and we keep trying Binny Nohit Jaddu in that slot. Non of our present batters have played in England ever so this is expected. Long time before we will see a good Indian team.
