As far as I remember we did not surrender as meekly with the bat as we have done here. Our slip fielding was much better then compared to this series. Yes scoreline says 3-1 and not a whitewash but mind you we are playing one of the worst English sides. According to me this series was more disappointing this 2011 tour.

Ball swung in every match. Our bowlers were completely inept. Here too bowling has not been great, better than last time though.

The innings defeat suffered at Birmingham was India's 3rd biggest inn defeat ever.* Also the Eng batsmen were in imperious form hammering all our bowlers for all 4 tests. * Correction , now this innings defeat is the 3rd biggest innings defeat ever for India.

Bell got 230, and even Amit Mishra got runs in the second innings. This time round every ball is seaming around, and Anderson and Broad are far better bowlers now than they were in 2011.

This time england had rookies and we also had some rookies but the lack of determination made this the worst series ever.

This England team is filled with kids who lost a series a few weeks prior to Sri Lanka at HOME!! Very weak team if you compare it to the one in 2011. This is much worse than 2011 in that sense because we are unlikely to face a weaker Eng team at home. This is comparable to the 4-0 loss to the Aussies who similarly had an inexperienced team takinf us on
