This has been a torrid tour for Kohli, a certain someone on whom Indian team pinned their hope. He looked ok yesterday but still was not able to rotate strike as he often do when in his full flow. How do you asses Virat's knock yesterday? Enough indication of coming back to form or is he still looking scratchy?

vvvslaxman Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 He is always good in ODIs apart from few hiccups. In Tests his career is a bit of up and down rather than up and up like one dayers. Little slow for his ability. He will always be my no1 choice for our ODI team.

In the first ODI he was still undergoing some post traumatic stress from the test series. I'm sure he'll be fine in the remaining ODIs, but that in no way means he'd be fine if there was another test match in England on this tour.

Little slow for his ability. He will always be my no1 choice for our ODI team. Even in yesterday's ODI game he was not at his fluent best IMO. His defense was not as compact as it used to be and his rotation of strike against spinners was not great. But hope he sort out the issues soon.

Everyone can have a bad tour. Its a shame English people not able to witness much of Kohli this summer.

Since Yuvi hammered Broad for 6 6s not one Indian rates him as a bowler when reality is he is right up there as a bowler. Everytime broad takes wicket we think its our batsman and not the bowler. I am certain english fans are going to view kohli in the same manner
