N Srinivasan will contest for BCCI's President post this year too

New Delhi: International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Narayanaswami Srinivasan will contest for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)'s president post this year as well. As per the rotation policy of the board, currently it's East Zone's turn to nominate their representative for BCCI president. Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is likely to nominate N Srinivasan. Saurav Ganguly, who was elected as Joint Secretary of CAB, is also considered to be in the Srinivasan-team. With Justice Mudgal Committee yet to submit report to Supreme Court regarding their findings on IPL match fixing, sources close to Srinivasan have confirmed that BCCI will not call Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the board elections originally scheduled for the last week of September 2014. Mudgal Committee will seek extension of 3-4 weeks from Honourable Supreme Court in next two days because of the on-going cricket series in England. Committee members will wait till Indian cricket team returns from England. Thus, it is effectively learnt that the BCCI elections and AGM are all set to be postponed by at least 15-20 days.

As i said before, the indian media got carried away. So some bookie said MSD was involved after he got a beating from the police. Nobody is going to convict on that You look at the Asif and Aamir convictions, they had video evidence. So unless MSD or any csk or other players are caught on camera or on the phone i doubt anybody can be proven to be guilty even by the BCCI You need hard evidence. Not saying MSD is cleaner than clean but you can do jack based on a persons word.

Er wrong. You don't need video evidence, as otherwise no one would be convicted of anything from murder to rape!!! You can have evidence like witnesses etc and much much more. Not saying there is such evidence here, just pointing out the law does not work based on evidence purely from a video or phone!! A persons word as you put it is actually what is called evidence and a witness. Get enough of these so called persons words all saying same thing then...
