I was under the impression, the booing was a result of Moeen telling Indians to support England than India. It seemed like a reaction that look at us booing the even the desi origin English players. Plus, even Bopara who is of Indian origin was booed. It doesn't seem like the boos were specifically targeting Moeen because of his religion. India has muslims playing in the team so that's so that's also out of the question. How about when the Indian players were boo'ed? What about when the Aussies/ English boo each other's players?

Why dont they speak out against extremists and those that cause terror around the world in the name of their religion? Where was ali's father and others then? And british media and especially cricinfo made it worse: "dark days of cricket", "racial tension" , like wtf when india vs pak play we just boo pak cause of the rivalry, not because of religion. We just want to enjoy the damn match!
