Most times A teams get flat Pattas,Test pitches are way way different from Pitches Teams get in A tours and Practice Matches. Only additional advantage is sometimes in places like Nzl and Eng,the weather might be an additional factor that will give experience but that's about it.

This separates the cricket players who play the game, from stat gurus:cantstop: Batsman always picking up a bat and shadow batting in front of mirror(can be good way to get technique right). Its obsession:(( Vaughan telling a story on tour how trescothick drove him mad one tour as room above him and constantly hearing tap tap in middle of night as Marcus was shadow batting in room:--D

He is playing after the tour becoz he was playing odi series vs BD & attended the stupid camp before the series srarted. He is playing the last few games of season becoz he has nothing to loose from these games & doesnt have any better commitments. He ll be back next year as well imo. Thats what i am saying. The more he keeps playing the better he will get. While people like Sourabh10forever, KT etc already want him to come back.
