kubrickian Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Sunil Gavaskar's accent is good to hear. Neither American nor British. It sounds genuine and also uniquely Indian.
CSK Fan Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 accent se kya hai' date='ladki sexy honi chahiye :woot:[/quote'] Nausikhiye, what do you think makes a woman sexy? For some Indian virgins, even a whale showing some skin seems sexy

zep1706 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Yes he is South African even in the serial. But he is shown as a oxford grad. In it. Hence classical British English. He grew up in South Africa and spent most of his life there, yes he did spend a few years in the UK, but his accent has to be an acquired one (not talking about the character but IRL). Props to him for doing it so well though.
zep1706 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Among Indians I can listen to Jaswant Singh talk all day. His accent has some influence from the colonial period yet it is distinctively Indian.
